Charlie Wales is a man whom comes off very respectable and he s a people person. His success has been able to open quite few doors open for him so Its hard to believe that he had an alcohol problem. Charlie s many flaws is why his daughter isnt with him and cant forget to mention that he might be responsible for the death of his wife.Even though it wasn t made clear that charlie was the direct cause but his actions took part in the blame for the death of his wife. He may not have been the ultimate reason for his wife s heart trouble but his addiction to alcohol played a huge part.Its very clear that charlie has gotten his act together and seems to really love and wants his daughter back with him. Charlie seems like a fine man and it seems like he has his act together but the mistakes he made seems like theyre unforgivable.He would come back some day; they couldn t make him pay forever. But he wanted his child, and nothing was much good now, beside that fact. He wasn t young any more , with a lot of nice thoughts and dreams to have by himself.
